Opposite Tourists travel couple and relationship blog

Living with your significant other is easy so travelling with them is no sweat! How many of you thought that and then once away from home wanted to rip their head off? Travelling with a partner is tough especially when you have different ideas. That’s where Opposite Tourists was born out of. Meet Rio and Law – a couple who are different in both their personalities, interests and travel styles. We blog about the good, the bad, and the ugly of travelling as a couple. As well as Relationship topics such as Love, Sex and Advice. This blog is mostly written by Rio.

Our Story

We met at the beginning of 2016 through mutual friends. My first impression of Law was that he was goofy, shy and that he had a good heart. He says he thought I was good looking and friendly but wouldn’t be interested in him. We became good friends over the next few months before our romance blossomed. By the end of 2016 we had moved in together and have been inseparable ever since.

Our relationship hasn’t been easy from the get go but we’ve learnt to make it work through hard work and compromise. We’ve been there for each other through the good times and the bad.

About Us

I’m in my late 20’s, love to plan and like the luxury lifestyle. Law is in his 30’s, prefers spontaneity, likes adventure and is a budget traveller. I suffer from Anxiety and am a nervous flyer whilst Law is easy-going. I’m a self-confessed foodie yet have digestive disorders which can make eating out tricky at times. Law on the other hand, will admit that if he could take a pill everyday to stop him from having to eat again he would! We both love Game of Thrones and hiking although Law is more of a Country Boy whereas I’m very much a City (or Beach) Girl.
